Was This The Sprinkle Project You Asked For?!

After making the sprinkle-handled ice scoop, many of you said you wanted WHOLE SPRINKLES. So I added the leftovers to a mold, then the whole thing had to sit for 8 weeks till I got my cast off!

Let me know if this was worth the wait!

  1. I'm glad you found a way to avoid sanding it for the white edges to show. I was so excited with the scoop but the sanding made it largely white. Still cool but not as colorful as hoped.

  2. it looks like a prop from deadpool or something similar – a deadly weapon with cute sprinkle design. amazing!

  3. Shame you did not show the other ones when you mentioned them, or even show them all in one place. Seeing all next to each other would be great, or even make a display case for them.

  4. I assume the sprinkles are soluble in water. So, could you simply cut and sand to the desired shape, then soak in water to dissolve the exposed sprinkles, and then put a final coat of clear epoxy to fill the sprinkle voids and give the appearance of only solid sprinkles.

  5. You should have domed/added a layer to the blanks with more clear resin so you had more working space. But still, it looks great!

  6. ????????first time I see Peter admit to something not safe ????umm broken wrist made Peter super sensitive to debatable ways of sanding.
Loved how the knife turned out. Just a thought but why not make a mould of the knife handle so that it has the shape ready to go for things like sprinkles and such. With sooo many types of sprinkles out there you could have a whole collection ????????????????

  7. I like it ???? keeping the 'whole sprinkle' side is harder work but so rewarding ????

  8. I kinda want to see jewelry made from the cut off parts of the sprinkle handle…
