  2. I would add the term "sweeping seconds" to the list. Many use it to refer to a "continuously" sweeping seconds hand (on the likes of Spring Drive, early Accutron, Precisionist models, etc) but that's not accurate. It refers to a centrally located seconds hand which "sweeps" the entire dial, as opposed to a small seconds hand.

  3. I watched a so-called watch expert, not know the difference between a chronograph and a chronometer. Stating that they were essentially the same thing.

    Also, I’ve heard people mix up the words “bezel” and “bevel” before, too
