Teddy: this is a serious watch channel, no laughing.
Also Teddy: gives to much emphasis to the word cock
Cool jacket .
I would add the term "sweeping seconds" to the list. Many use it to refer to a "continuously" sweeping seconds hand (on the likes of Spring Drive, early Accutron, Precisionist models, etc) but that's not accurate. It refers to a centrally located seconds hand which "sweeps" the entire dial, as opposed to a small seconds hand.
Dictionary of watches. Awesome sharing of knowledge
Chronometer, chronograph are often confused
I watched a so-called watch expert, not know the difference between a chronograph and a chronometer. Stating that they were essentially the same thing.
"And no laughing, let's be mature about this, were talking about watch making" 🤣🤣
Did I just hear Teddy talk about 🍆's 😅 in his watch channel?
I always thought it was “Balance Cog.”
Also, I’ve heard people mix up the words “bezel” and “bevel” before, too
No laughing! 😂
"Deployment" is one of my pet peeves.
