Living underground means you need a fresh air supply.
do I have one yet? no – but now I know i need one!

Nice job with keeping the levels safe for a confined space. Next step is to make a power plant that is definitely not derived from smoke detectors
More and longer bunker updates, please.
I live in utah and have free cabinets i found on the side of the road and put them in my storage shed if you want them
Time for a carbon scrubber
Not sure how much they are, but CO2 scrubbers are a thing. Like the ones in the ISS but for home shops or smaller areas.
This man is Noah
He's got warning for nuclear warfare
India and Pakistan just started some bombing
Ideally you want air blowing in one end and air blowing out the other
Get some oxygen making plants That don't need much light?
Make sure to bring it a bunch of plants, you can search for House plants which specifically have the highest amount of air conversion
After the bunker is fully complete make a house ontop of it no one would notice
now you can say an uncountable amount of sweaty dudes in gym shorts that have sat on your countertop lmao im sorry preemptively
Do you have to worry about Radon gas where you live?
He obviously tried to buy a canary to test the air in his man cave. How horrible.
Hey I used to go to Timpview. @Jerry any chance you have the contact info for the guy who was selling it and know if he has anymore? I'd like to use some for a desk if they still have some.
Push it up to 24%~ and you’ll grow as large as a dinosaur!
fun fact, birds have VERY complex respiratory systems. they even have airsacks in their bones. partially due to trying to be lighter, partially to maximize oxigen intake to help them while flying. thats why they would get sick or die way faster than humans. they are super sensitive to air quality. if you have birds at home, dont light candles or smoke, use exhuast fans for gas stoves.
1700 ppm co2 is fine. Worked in a brewery, we wouldnt leave the room until it hit 3% and ive seen it spike up to 5% before. I think that is 50000 ppm
I'm no expert, but wouldn't you also need to detect the presence of other harmful gases that are not Carbon Dioxide? Or is that just for sewers? Someone educate me please 😂
Zach is on his villain Arc, building an underground bunker to give the world a durability test. "Scratches at a Megaton 6, with deeper grooves at a Megaton 7."
Always interesting whether an underground bunker, manufacturing tech, or destroying handheld electronics…. Before I do 😅
I don't think e-ink is an appropriate display choice for a realtime safety monitoring device. If it fails it will continue to show the last reading.
Bird breathing is pretty interesting, they are much better at extracting gasses from air. This makes them more vulnerable to contaminants.
Uh blowing air IN both entrances should mean the air …. Has nowhere to exit/go and that really is probably not what you actually want.
We are balls deep in the apocalypse
What's the point of a bunker if the world is destroyed?
I couldn’t imagine living after the world is gone. Just, so bleak.
Whens the apocalypse? Can it wait ive got a lot on this week?
Jerry over here playing life size version of Fallout.
Playing in deep holes… That's what my momma said
This is for what exactly? I mean the bunker in backyard doesn't sound mainstream bunker to me so I assume you will use it for something like warehouse thing? Just guessing because think of it this way that level of space can accumulate more of the wheelchairs for deliveries while the ones in production can get the space in workspace to be stacked for quality checks and all. The goal being to avoid confusion between the ones that are to be shipped vs the ones that need to be tested.
