  1. Yeah, I had to stop using these because I live in a really hot place. If I leave my backpack in the car or in the sun all my pens get ruined

  2. so THIS is why mine die so fast!! i’m a swim coach in south florida and love these pens but i leave a few in my bag/car and they always have such a short life! they stop working for (seemingly) no reason. great video!

  3. Hi! I really love your channel as someone who’s also very interested in all kinds of stationery. Thank you for sharing videos of rare and cute Japanese stationery. please keep up the great work!

  4. I was using old notes as fuel for a campfire. Saw that the flames made the ink vanished. Manged to salvage about small stack of flashcards by holding them near the flame.

  5. One worst about these pens is never use it to write it on your ID. As some countries who fall behind technology they would give you a printed paper where they ask you to write your name on the front and sign on the back then glue your 2×2 pic… after that they will LAMINATE your ID. And you will get a blank writing with a picture of your face

  6. If you leave it in a hot car and it erases everything, put it in the freezer, and it will come back. I've had this happen and got all of my notes back.

  7. so the pen in hot water never recover? i thought you could try placing it into cold water.

  8. This is literally what I use for drawing out patterns/marking pieces of fabric when sewing. If you like the gimmick, you can just search up ‘disappearing fabric pens’ and get a lot for pretty cheap. Not a good idea for actual writing use imo.

  9. My friend back in 2011 took an university entrance exam with that pen to make her answer sheet seems neat with no mistake.. we took exam during summer and all the answer sheets are stack together some of the ink disappear and unfortunately she fail her exam 😅

  10. theres starch based foam and these packing peanuts. They must be kept dry, so Id understand if thats not feasible if you are in the more southern part of japan

  11. yeah I rather use a fountain pen.

btw bungu id love for u to look at refillable and more eco conscious products, kinda thought thats a thing in japan too.

also asking u to please look for ghibli themed fountain pens and refillable ballpoint pens

also you ever researched starch based packing peanuts?

  12. Oh fun fact and this happened to a buddy of mine, DON'T use pens like this on homeword that is going to go through a laminator.

  13. I knew I was risking it, but I still wrote my AP exams in these pens and then just crossed my fingers that they wouldn’t sit somewhere hot for too long

  14. But then you would always need to have hot water to use it, which is not the best thing-

  15. Word of advice, don't write any diary entries or anything inappropriate with these pens. Once someone sticks it in the fridge, its game over
