  5. I have had cast iron pans, brand new, in my house for almost 2 years out of fear!!, I will not be trying this and concoring that fear of the cast iron.

  6. I legit just finished dishes and cleaned the cast iron skillet THEN saw notification for your short. Heck yea, I heat it on the stove dirty til smoke point, then rinse it under the spigot, the muck sizzles off, scrape/rub off anything leftover, then the heat allows it to not be so wet. I just used some refined coconut oil on a towel ๐Ÿ‘ good and shiny like a hiney!! ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฅ“

  7. there's a guy on youtube who decided to season his brand new cast iron pan… 100 times. It was wild. He had progress photos, and by the end of it that black was so shiny it was practically had a mirror finish and eggs would slide across it like butter.
