  1. It would be helpful to give a little more information on what to do with bulbs that you cannot plant in the ground… for example for those of who are in different zones such as 9B. Is it possible to save your tulip bulbs from year to year with some carful planning? I have attempted to save tulips by digging them up, storing them in my garage and putting them in a cold separate fridge for 10-12 weeks Right before planting again…it’s quite a process, but wondering if you could elaborate on it a little bit.

  2. my dad has tulips he planted in 1961 still coming up. i have some that are 26 yrs old. must have been some hearty bulbs. He's in 6A and I'm in 5B

  3. Do amaryllis bulbs get treated the same way? The leaves have all died off from my Christmas Amaryllis. Wondering what the next step is? I’d like to plant them outside at some point for the summer?

  4. Normally I am able to view your videos by 7:00 am eastern time, however lately they are not available until several hours later. Watching you while I have my morning coffee has been my morning routine for five years. What is up with YouTube?

  5. Oh, my goodness … look at that little man ♥ Benjamin is growing up before our eyes ♥

  6. Great information. I’ve always heard if you plant bulbs in a pot they wouldn’t come back up in the garden next year. It always seemed like such a waste to me. Now I’m very anxious to plant some containers this fall and see if I can save the bulbs and replant in the spring.

  7. Good afternoon, my Garden answer video for today didn't show up on my you tube channel until 20 min. ago. It is now 1:58 P.M. I'm so glad I peruse garden answer throughout the day just in case I missed something. I'm in Michigan zone 6. this happens about 3 or 4 times a month to me, Irritating!!! Glad I found you Laura????????????????????

  8. I am in the deep south & I plant my hyacinths out. They have returned & bloomed for the last 4 years.

  9. I Worry about you Laura. With all the pesticides and chemicals we are exposed to daily when you can mask up or at least wear gloves when using Epsoma products. A little here and there adds up. ❤

  10. Can you do the same with caladiums? I was going to plan them yesterday but we have a huge storm coming tonight so I'm going to try on Sunday. But I've never ever done bulbs before. So, here's to trying! 🙂

  11. Question: aren't the bulbs going to rot because of the constant watering from plants nerby? I live in a low desert and we have to water a lot during summer to keep no natives plants alive and with bulbs Im always afraid of killing them if a put them on the ground with the frequent watering during thier resting time.

  12. I was wondering if you should pinch back marigolds the same way as you do snap dragon's to make them fuller?
I love that Benjamin enjoys being out with you!!
