water bottles and food liquids have to meet the TSA rules and be under 3.4 oz and I don't recommend packing a sandwich in your bag. Maybe stick to just bags of snacks like nuts or a protein bar.

i believe that here in Australia a water container THAT HAS A CAPACITY >100ML even if it does not actually contain 100ml of liquid will not be allowed through security . Bearing this in mind i am not sure how you will go with the foldable water container?

How about suggesting that you get up and walk around to avoid possible blood clots?!

the only problem on a long flight is lack of leg space and butt pains, so the best tip is get an aisle seat, the rest is irrelevant.

Thank you! I am going to Thailand, a 8 hour flight and then a 2 hour stop over and a 1 hour flight, and this is really helpful!

With so many people with nut allergies, I don't even pack them anymore. Rather spend a couple hours without my trailmix, then have someone go into anaphylactic shock nearby at 25k feet.
