What to sow in May, temperate climates

By late spring, it’s game on. Once the danger of frosts has passed, which depends where you are, more tender vegetables such as squashes, cucumbers and tomatoes that have been raised indoors, can be planted out.
Many seeds, such as those for harvests of broad beans, peas, beetroot, carrots, chard and salads, can be sown straight into the soil.
If the weather is warm, new leaves will come through in a matter of days. Fast growth helps seedlings resist slugs.

Already had a big harvest off the green (french) beans and strawberries!

  2. Have you ever checked the temperature difference of the ground in Dig v no dig, I imagine a bit of heat would be lost in the dug bed
