Why are HOAs so against gardens when they can look as beautiful as this!? #garden #plants #lawn

Go to gardenary.com to learn how to have a garden like this one this summer👏👏👏

Isn’t it wild that neighborhoods will outlaw food gardens but let grass grow freely? 🤔 I mean, I get it – food gardens have this reputation of being “”messy”” or “”unsightly,”” but with the right design they can 100% be as beautiful as any other ‘normal’ landscaping!

That’s why I design gardens the way I do – because food gardens CAN be gorgeous. 😍

I’d love to show you how to set up a garden in your space that’s stunning – but that doesn’t need a pro landscaping team to keep up with 😉 You can maintain a space like this, harvest from it every single week, and only spend 5 minutes in it a day.

I am totally 💯 with frontyard potager. I live in Canada suburbs and I am still in the metropolitan area as rhe last subway station is just 15 min walk from my porch. What you show is compact and beautiful raise bed, i wouldn’t even think i need to ask the city if i can do it… i will just do it.

Hoa must be Satan controlled. I've seen videos. Only hate comes from them. So sad 😢

HOAs so pointless. I pay my mortgage. I maintain my home. I pay for upkeep. I pay my property taxes. I pay my bills. What does the HOA have to do with me again? F em.

Gorgeous little garden. Beautifully done. Very harmonious with the environment. ❤

Two miles away a neighbor does a "sort of garden" in front of his house…. It's a mess (nothing to compare with your beautiful video). You should see that. A real desaster, not even inviting. He never cleans is garden. 🥴 So ugly. I hope the city will send him a request to clean…

My absolute favorite thing is when people move into HOA communities, and pay into the HOA, then complain about the rules of said HOA. Hilarious …. 🙄
Use your money and get out of the HOA! Have the neighborhood vote to get rid of them even! Or keep doing what you're doing and get nowhere.

Hide them behind the bushes. I put on south facing side it doesn’t matter if it’s front

I'm calgary canada and my front yard has a raised bed around for my two dogs to freely roam around the front yard and loving it for it serve as a fence and edible garden.

I think because some people who own home don't take care of their yards. Also, it looks bad when you have a garden that not all way green and pretty. When plants leaves die back or whole plant at end of season. Then you have to wonder what plant for winter season or cool season, depending on your climate. Maybe this is why people live in hoa, so don't have to worry about what to plant, what lawn company to get or worry about, and what tree to plant. Here again, all the bs of hoa and them own your house or putting a loan on your house because of some bs tickets you have because of rule or something.

What a pity you can’t grow gardens in your front yard in some areas I have three garden beds besides flowers in my front yard so I guess I’m one of the lucky ones🍊🫐🍓🍇🥭🍆🍅🥦🥬🫛🥕🌽🫑🥔🫜🥒🍉

Some HOAs are not against gardening; they restrict having food gardening in the FRONT of the house. Considering the difference in standards of neat/tidy/clean with some neighbors/some neighborhoods…NOT food gardening in the FRONT can be a real good thing!!!

I live in Spokane, WA. I have 12 raised beds in my front yard and so many of our neighbors too as well. I also have lots of beds in my backyard, but my front yard has great sun too so why would I not wanna grow beautiful gardens in the front. No laws against it.

What I don’t understand is why the city will spray round up and other chemicals which we all know kills everything including us and poisoned the ground water we all drink and it will be for “ invasive grass “ yet nobody wants to be poisoned and could care less about grass growing. Then they only fill the parks and yards with poisonous types if berries and non flowering trees and plants. Now they don’t want gardens. Huh seems strange to me. But everyone should check out micro clover or carpet for the lawns. Much better because you don’t need to cut and the animals like it too. Grass is the biggest crop here in the US. rather we have more of lawn grass then even gmo farmland. Something went wrong here only we can correct it

The system is so broken, i wish we had fruit trees growing in the parks and other open places, so homeless and others could eat, no one would starve, and there wouldnt be no crime either or at least reduce crime

Thats only for neighbourhoids where chemical weedkillers and pesticides arent used .
