We’re almost wired to avoid failure. Why? Because it threatens our sense of belonging.
Let me explain…
When you ‘fail’ at something, you’re often not even that concerned about the ‘failing’ part, and instead entirely concerned with these things:
What will other people think of me?
What if they think I’m dumb?
What if they think I’m a fool?
What if it ruins my reputation?
It’s all outwardly focussed… ego-driven…
Quite simply, it’s because we take ‘failure’ as a form of social rejection…
And rejection hurts!
But if you allow your fear of failure to hold you back, it’ll keep you stuck.
It’ll keep you frustrated & stagnant.
It’ll keep you WISHING you could live the life you dream of, while convincing you that you’re not capable of it.
