Cutting glass is like handling rare and antique manuscripts because there's a misconception that you have to wear gloves, but in reality gloves in either situation make you less dextruous and more likely to damage what you're working on.

Have you used cutting oil? I never fill the reservoir of my scoring tool, I just roll the blade in a little jar of it, but I remember being taught that it helps the glass break more cleanly. Love your work btw!!
