I think that Cut along the helmet is where it separates from the suit.
The bottom part of the helmet is actually part of the suit, to endure an airtight Seal.
And as gar as i know we never saw a Phase 1 Trooper Take Off His helmet in any lucasfilm only production, so the Person designing the Armour in "the clone wars" didn't know about this.

I believe it’s used to hook up a breathing tube, also if you make any more of these it would be cool to keep one unpainted to keep the cardboard aesthetic

Honestly, i know alot of people REALLY like the phase 2 clone armor but phase 1 will always hold a special place in my heart, I just really like the design, specifically the fin, idk i just really like it.

The quality for this one is wayyyy better than the previous cardboard one you made before. As someone who studied industrial design before puttying and sanding were crucial for smooth finishing. Cant wait for the end product!!

    100% practical and cgi accurate.
This shows that Legacy Effects simply did a terrible job creating the P1 helmets for the Ahsoka series' flashbacks.

In my mind the way the helmet should have attached to a neck peice and the helmet attaches to it to create an air tight seal
