Real men can fight as an absolute last resort but have the emotional intelligence to almost never let it get that far.
My son has boxed since he was young and I’m proud to say has never ever in his life ever had a single street fight or had to go and ‘whoop some es ass. I raised him as calm, collected, mature, sensible and thoughtful. He can ensure that he can resolve any conflict using his brain, that’s what a real man is.
If you’re resorting to fighting or encouraging someone to fight just remember that generally how 8 year olds behave. As a man you should have grown out of that way of thinking a long time ago.

boys are abandon by the world. So they have to learn on their own. If at all. one thing people have to understand is this changes depending on the level of income and free time of the parents. The lower they are. The more common it is.

People who are saying "is he from 1980s? No body talks to their kids that way anymore." Yes they absolutely do. Do not assume it doesn't happens just bcz u haven't experienced it. Yes, i can agree that they don't use the exact wordings as him.. but they do/say the same thing just in different way/words. (For Ex:- one death stare to a boy when he's showing emotions is enough to stop him from expressing himself. And that same stare can be used to silence the girl who's standing up for herself.)
This is why older people complain that young people respond wrong in social settingsl. We now try to teach boys those soft skill and teach girls to stand up for themselves.
If you want to understand why women are better at emotional intuition and community, visit a labor and postpartum ward. The relationships women tend to foster so much better than men are absolutely crucial for navigating through that immensely difficult and vulnerable period safely. If they didn't, we wouldn't have survived as a species.
We don't teach children that but there are consequences for every behavior. Not that they have to wear masks because of their gender. We have a society that doesn't even know what it is.
