Will This Growing Family Seeking Bigger Space Move or Renovate? | Love It or List It | HGTV

Now that a couple has two young boys, he feels cramped and wants more space to entertain. He hopes David can find a new property with more space for the family, but she loves their neighborhood and feels that Hilary can make their home suit their needs.

When a house no longer feels like home, homeowners are left with a big financial and emotional question: renovate or sell it? Love It or List It helps fed-up homeowners decide. In each hour-long episode Realtor David Visentin and designer Hilary Farr compete for the homeowners’ final decision to stay or go. David’s insider perspective on the real estate market helps target listings to prospective buyers, but Hilary is determined to show homeowners that, within their budget, she can transform their worn-out house into a castle they can love. If the owners decide to list it, Hilary’s hard work adds to the home’s resale value. It’s a tough decision either way. Which choice would you make?

  1. I mean really now you know that you didn’t put what they decided to do and that’s unfair so I’m marking it negative just because that’s what we’re waiting for

  2. They could get a better mudroom and laundry by only connecting to the bonus room upstairs instead of a two story addition.
Having the laundry saves most of the hard work of doing laundry which is lugging it. This leaves more space for mudroom expansion.

  3. Podcaster told me the reason why HGTV doesn’t finish the videos is because then they will get more comments and thus go up in the Algorithms.

  4. This is the first time I wanted to list the property. Being that close to neighbours where every house is symmetrical..I couldn't stand it. After Hilary changed it, I loved it but I still can't stand the neighbourhood.

  5. IT'S A GARBAGE LAYOUT IN BETWEEN OF LIVING ROOM AND THE KITCHEN. WTH! ????????‍♂ , ????????

  6. Hey beautiful people watching you guys is a joy ????????????❤????????????????????????????????????????????????❗️❗️❗️

  7. Like the show a lot, but these guys here? They don't need a new house, but Marie Kondo instead

  8. That shot of all the other houses looking pretty much identical is so bleak. I don’t understand why that’s appealing

  9. I liked the house the way it was before. That addition made it wonky. Odd stairwells, nooks and crannies everywhere… feels tacked on, which of course it is

  10. Thank you for making these videos of my favorite shows I can’t watch since I don’t have cable!! ❤❤
