I had a special guest visit my mini bakery. That’s Lotso, the purple bear in Toy Story 3. He told me he’s turning over a new leaf now. So I made him a Black Forest Cake so he can start being the sweetest bear in the world. I feel happy for him.
For those don’t know, Black Forest Cake is a traditional German dessert made with chocolate sponge cake layers soaked with simple syrup, filled and frosted with light whipped cream along with some juicy cherries and rich, dark chocolate shavings. This cake has the perfect amount of bitterness that is balanced out by the sweet syrup.
