  1. Useful ❤ saved ❤
Would love to see you show how to tell with some powder products as well if you haven’t already, and with gel liners- like with the Colourpop ones, I bought a set of the colored gel stick liners and they were so dry that a few colors just broke off when I tried to apply a simple winged cats eye look. I also lost my sense of taste and smell during covid so smells don’t smell the same as they used to, idk if that makes sense. 😅 anyway other ways to tell aside from smell or dryness is helpful. Also any tips to revive makeup that’s still useable/not expired just a bit dried out. If at all possible ❤😅
I know you can add a drop of oil to pigments I’m just curious if there’s anymore tips I could combine ❤

Curious if you ever tried out that touch in sol raspberry sherbet icy primer I mentioned. I love it in summer cause it blurs pores and fills things similarly to a putty primer but totally different consistency and wondering what a good dupe would be, as it’s kinda expensive these days for me.😅

  2. I ordered two Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks from Ulta recently and checked on the Check Fresh Cosmetics website to see when they were manufactured and both were made a YEAR ago. It’s really frustrating when companies sell you products that are already more than half way through their shelf life especially when they’re really expensive. I’m surprised this isn’t talked about more.

  3. it’s such a waste of products 😅i try to keep my makeup stash minimal and try not to get influenced

  4. I change mascara every 6 months because it says 6 months on the tube. I barely use makeup so I already only use it maybe 3-10 times in those 6 months.

  5. If mascara doesn’t smell or make my eyes water, I’ve worn it when it’s 2 years old

  6. What’s the use of luxury makeup if it can’t even give you longer shelf life

  7. Clear brown gel is a nightmare for me, I don't if is because is the easiest one to see, but every time I buy one I always throw it out in 2 week because I start to see mold.

  8. I lost my sense of smell to covid. I guess I need to find someone to tell me if my lipsticks smell bad. Because they look fine. And my lips haven't fallen offm

  9. Oh wow, I didn't know it was 30 days on mascara. Yikes. I've been flirting with disaster on that one. Thank you so much! 😳

  10. Thank you Morgan honey, I will go through ugh my horribly big collection this weekend! You&re a lifesaver! 🙏🏻🥰😘

  11. For powder eyeshadows and blush, if the pigments dry out and it doesn't smell like chemicals or awful stuff (just purely dried out pigments), simply put a few drops of oil. Baby oil, jojoba, sunflower, argan, moringa or castor–whatever works for your skin. Let the oil absorb into the pigments. Give it some time to set. This may take a few days.

  12. I collect makeup too I just donate or give away what I know for sure I won't use before it goes bad
