  1. Made these with my 2 1/2yr. old 45 years ago. They were wonderful then and fantastic now. My Nanna gave us the recipe for simple but good cookies to keep the kids busy.

  2. Ingredients:
    110g unsalted butter, melted
    150g light brown sugar
    115g granulated sugar
    1 large egg
    1tsp vanilla
    200g plain flour
    ½tsp bicarbonate of soda
    ½tsp salt
    200g chocolate chips

    1) Preheat your oven to 190°C/ Gas Mark 5/ 170°C (fan)

    2) Add the melted butter and both sugars to a large bowl and whisk until fully combined.

    3) Add the egg and vanilla and whisk them in.

    4) Add the plain flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt then mix to form a dough.

    5) Fold the chocolate chips through the dough.

    6) Roll the dough into 1tbsp (15g) balls and place them on a cookie sheet.

    7) Bake for 5-6 minutes, then let them cool slightly.

    8) Enjoy!

  3. For some reason, it takes me a while to make cookie dough. Ik its just me, cuz I see how others (like you) who make things so fast!
