  1. First my Mom, then my first husband, his mother cleaned and vacuumed everyday so I followed her way.
I've always had dogs so I continued to clean daily
Through the years I picked up techniques. Then I found "Clean my Space" when my sis and I had to clean out my Dad's condo.
We learned to be efficient and get more accomplished.
I have a clean and organized home most days๐Ÿ˜„
I continue to learn from watching. Thank you ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  2. YouTube taught me. My mom is a wonderful person but not a great cleaner so I learned her skills unfortunately. Right before Covid hit, I had seen some cleaning videos by accident. It gave me some unexpected motivation so I started watching more and eventually created a cleaning checklist. I tend to like checklists and when Iโ€™m feeling less energetic, Iโ€™ll watch one and get up and do my task.

  3. Fly lady taught me. Marla Cilley. Iโ€™m glad to see you are teaching the next generation these amazing tips in an easy and approachable way!

  4. I learned to make beds, dust, and hand wash dishes from my grandmother. I learned the value of routines from Kallie at But First Coffee, and better practice cleaning (beginning with how to clean a toilet properly) from you ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. You taught me ๐Ÿ˜‚! I had always lived in a messy house. But when I learned decluttering, having clean orderly surfaces, cleaning from top to bottom etc. everything became fast and easy. Thanks soooo much!

  6. No one taught me how to clean. I kind of learned what to buy from commercials and reading the instructions. Went I bought my first house, pre-internet, I bought a book called " How to Clean Absolutely Everything". I wish I still had it, it would be interesting to see what, if anything, has changed.

  7. Please share a cleaner that will eliminate urine smell around a toilet. Thank!

  8. Minimalism can be terrible on children . I grew up in such a house . In my bedroom a bed , a desk with a chair , a small cupboard for very few clothes . Nothing else , no pictures , no toys , nothing . My parents had enough money but I had to rely on the school library for books to read

  9. I was brought up in a Greek cleaning freak house. Actually my grandmother was even worse. So you can assume how I ended up being neat freak too.โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜And I am a man for the record.

  10. Great video and you are one of a few motivational types that I am sure glad to have in the palm of my hand to make the best of the situation and I am sure that the timing of your videos is nothing more than coincidence and you have a great habit of helping me to get everything done and looking , smelling and the feeling that I have is so much better than the opposite when I am opening the door to the girlfriend or friends and the coincidence part is the Condo that I live in is in the final phase of many projects and the setbacks are not the easiest to make the best of especially when they have been without any AC FOR THE WHOLE BUILDING AND THE ONLY THING I CAN HOPE FOR IS THAT THE HEAT IS NOT THE NEXT SETBACK OR ………..BUT I am making it a little better now that you have lifted my spirits to clean up my 3rd floor 1 BR in my CO-OP Condominium that I am not going to be running around @ the last minute cleaning up my mess before the next contractor is doing the work for the multi Million dollar renovation project from HELLโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒžโ˜„๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒž Thank God for my LG portable AC in the bedroom and for Melissa ๐Ÿ

  11. It was a combination of my mom and dad. My mother was a maid in a rich household and she was also a housekeeper for a hotel. My dad was also some type of Butler.

  12. My Mom was willing to live with a lot of clutter. I never really learned how to clean except by experimenting. Your show has been a game changer.

  13. The decluttering is an amazing idea. It is really does move from 1 area of the home to the next. I started with a closet than under the sinks. Than all my drawers, than my filing cabinet and not my house is so organized and easy to keep clean and it saves so much time cleaning. I used to feel like cleaning was a such chore now it is just up keep.

  14. I have put into practice your 3Wave Cleaning System and using the S method. Game Changers!!

  15. Good info, I started a car cleaning business last year and i use this same mindset. The same goes with my home, preventive maintenance is key! Clean as you go to avoid big jobs later.

  16. I NEED HELP!!!
I have a question regarding cleaning granite countertops.
We have a black granite countertop with some gold specks throughout it. Anyway, if any water stays on the counter for any length of time (due to spray from washing your hands, condensation from a cup, etc), it will leave like water stains on the counters and itโ€™s so hard to remove those stains. I try to tell all family members to wipe up those water spots immediately but no one listens to me. So itโ€™s left me to try and see if those water spots can be lifted. Iโ€™ve tried a baking soda paste, granite counter cleaner and polish, Method spray. And none of those things have really removed those water stains completely. I notice the most water stains accumulate right where the knob is to turn on and off the water. Iโ€™m forced to put a folded paper towel under that area which makes the counter just look dirty and Iโ€™m just covering up the stain as opposed to truly getting rid of it.
I donโ€™t know what else to do but it seems like this counter shows any water spots so easily I guess due to how dark it is or just the fact that maybe itโ€™s hard water in general and it is constantly staining that granite.
Any other ideas on how to get it back to that shiny clean??

  17. Hi I love the way you talk and explain everything … It looks so easy and tempting to start cleaning…Really it is too much motivating…

  18. Iโ€™m a Latter-Day-Saint/Mormon & the first person who motivated me was a lady called Daryl Hoole. She is also a Latter-Day-Saint. She is brilliant with cleaning & organising ideas.

Another one is Denise Schofield. Her books are fantastic & I follow a lot of her tips.

As well as you on YouTube, I also follow Emily Norris, Cas from Clutterbug, Do It on a Dime & The Minimal Mom.

  19. My Godmother taught me how to clean and my favorite task was raking her shag carpet.๐Ÿ˜
