  1. They have these at Wal-Mart and several other girl scout flavors. They literally taste the same. A lot cheaper too!

  2. I learned to make these before you were born, Emmy! Our Girl Scout troop visited a local bakery. Mrs. D told us we could make fake Mints using Ritz crackers, and they'd taste just like ours! We didn't believe it, but it's true! Thin mints are best FROZEN with a glass of milk.

  3. How about mini ice cream sandwiches with a scoop of mint chip between two of these ????

  4. Thin mints cookie my least favorite but I ate an entire box ???? lol

  5. "This video is NOT sponsored. Just making "cheese"" lol

  6. Thin mints have a layer of mint cream in the middle here. Technically they have a different name but those are our thin mints.

  7. I had to smile when you said you were using peppermint oil to flavor the chocolate. It brought back lovely memories of childhood. I was born & raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, & still live there. When I was growing up, and when my family was able we went to the local drive-in theater in the summer, they had a playground for young'ns to swing, slide, & climb until it was dark enough for the movie. While playing in the fresh air, there was always the scent peppermint in the air, because this drive-in was located near a factory that distilled & extracted peppermint oil.

  8. I don't think that mint and chocolate go together but my grandkids love them so I have made these for several years for them.❤❤

  9. Try some peanut butter between the crackers and dip in the chocolate, they are some of our favorites!! Also for being a Girl Scout leader over 36 years, thank you for all those that purchases cookies it helped us pay for troop retention for next year!! ????

  10. I dip Double Stuffed Oreos in melted Andes Mints every year at Christmas. Always a hit!!

  11. Another excellent cookie using Ritz crackers is to spread creamy peanut butter between two Ritz crackers then submerge the peanut butter sandwich cookies into chocolate coating liberally. When you bite into them you get a Butterfinger type texture with a chocolate coated creamy peanut butter cookie.

  12. Sounds cool, but untempered chocolate ? Seriously ? They will be white within days.

  13. My favorite sweet made with Ritz crackers are putting peanut butter between two crackers and then dipping them into melted white almond bark!! Soo good! My mom made them every year for my bday parties. Ah, nostalgia! I can’t get enough of it!!❤❤❤

  14. I love these. Nearly every church/community cookbook I own has a version of them.

  15. For the viewers in the Philippines… since Ritz crackers are hard to find and expensive there in the Philippines coz it's imported item, just use the local Fita crackers, they're basically the same as Ritz ???? or, if you want it a little sweeter, use Graham crackers instead
