  2. I sometimes try this recipe that a classmate from high school once recommended: melt 100gr unsalted butter along with 5 regular Mars bars, then add a bag of rice krispies and keep mixing the ingredients, then place them on a baking tray/dish and place it into the fridge to cool down.

  3. Ingredients
    For the rice krispy bar:
    60g salted butter
    300g mini marshmallows
    8 mini Kinder bars
    125g rice krispies

    For the topping:
    16 mini Kinder bars (+ extra for decoration)

    1) Line an 8×8" tin with baking paper.

    2) Add the butter, mini marshmallows and mini Kinder bars to a pan and stir continuously over a low heat until smooth.

    3) Add the rice krispies to a large bowl and coat them with the marshmallow mix until fully combined..

    4) Scoop the mix into your tin and press it down with a wet spoon or glass.

    5) For the topping, melt the mini Kinder bars in the microwave (500W) in 1 minute bursts, stirring until smooth.

    6) Pour the melted Kinder bars over the base and spread it out with a spoon, shaking the tin to smooth it out.

    7) Place mini Kinder bars on top for decoration.

    8) Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.

    9) Enjoy!

  4. I always use browned butter in my krispy treats, highly recommended as it gives an unbelievable richness and flavor upgrade!
