Valentina, I was in Copenhagen for the millionth time just last November and I stayed at the Bryggen Guldsmeden, at Islands Brygge. Even if you don't stay there, you absolutely have to go check it's lobby (maybe go have a drink there or something) as the interior design is so quirky and out of this world it's definitely worth going there just to have a little peek. I loved the all the details, from the overlapping rugs to the chandeliers, The staff are lovely and it's quite an informal atmosphere so maybe if you ask they'll let you see the other floors' lobbys and the pool area, which are quite special as well. My room was amazing, the right side of industrial with turkish prints to die for on the robes and bedding and a plush huge cushion as a window seat, I only wish I would have found out where I could source them from. Just lovely, I hope you get to see it.

Well, for the first time ever I have bought something that someone else advertised! 😆 I also LOVE your channel. It’s one of the very few (the others are forest/permaculture gardening) channels I follow. I’ve never found someone who said all the things I have felt and unconsciously wanted to do in my house. You have explained so simply all the things I’ve hated/loved and given me reasons and rationale for them! We are currently building our own custom house, and I feel so validated and happy that the things I really wanted/insisted for in the house (that people thought I was crazy for) are actually sound design choices! 💕
Floor and decor has some sparkly grout. I have noticed it in some of the displays. xD

Great trends! I actually like mixing 2 of the trends you mentioned : exotism and traditional, with things that remind me of great Travels and family/ local pieces
The heritage trend really isn’t a trend at our house. My husband and I both have a lot of German in our heritage, and we both get excited when we find something we’re looking for that happens to be made in Germany. That happened when we were shopping for flooring and found laminate flooring that we both liked, and it just happened to be made in Germany. We said it was meant to be in our house for sure!

Hey Valentina …NO GLITTER that is off for sure LOL – my back ground is from North India even though we travel allot but never had the opportunity to go there But my daughter has and brought some neat things back and Yes ever time I see any neat accessories eg tray bowls table Linens ect I will pick it to compete a fun uncluttered look that makes me smile ….Enjoy you beautiful trip travel safe and please share everything LOL ❤

I have really enjoyed being a follower these past few months! You have helped me immensely. I would like to say, however, on behalf of local artists, that folks can be recommended to check out their local galleries. Many times an artist, like myself, will take a commission on request; interviewing the purchaser, and creating a meaningful piece to fit the area they are looking to fill; in the colors they request…helping to bring a room together. I know I put a lot of thought and prep-work into what I create… to the point of your video, keeping the regional, cultural, and/or familial heritage in mind as I paint.🙏🏻💝🎨
How interesting… I have never thought of embracing my heritage in design. I am of Norwegian decent. So it would be interesting to look at their design style… I did a My Ancestry DNA check and it confirmed that on my father's side they came from Norway. Also on his father's side they trace back to Benjamin Franklin's Brother. So I guess he is a direct descendent of ours. Who knew? My Mother's side is from Italy… Supposedly way back on her side one of my great, great aunts was married to Jack Warner–one of the Warner Bros.. Also interesting… Although not surprising as the woman in that side of the family had stunningly good looks… So maybe I could also embrace either the Italian style or Hollywood glam? 😉 😊
