Recipe (Lauren recommends skipping the salt)
Ingredients:
– 2 cups of red chili peppers (about 8-10 peppers)
– 1/4 cup of garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons of sugar
– 2 tablespoons of salt
– 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
– 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
– 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
– 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
1. Begin by washing and deseeding the chili peppers. Cut them into small pieces.
2. In a large bowl, combine the chili peppers, garlic, sugar, salt, white vinegar, tomato paste, fish sauce, and black pepper.
3. Using a blender or food processor, blend the ingredients to a smooth paste. 4. Transfer the paste to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
5. Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce for 10 to 15 minutes.
6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool completely.
7. Transfer the cooled sauce to a jar and store in the refrigerator for up to two months. Enjoy!
I guarantee you this is not a terrible thing we can live without sriracha
I needa know what kinda AI these folk are asking cause whenever I do be asking they be giving me the question I literally when I could’ve just searched it myself and still not find the answer
Sriracha shortage? Ive had the same giant bottle for like 3 years, I guess I dont use it quite as much as I used to. Damn you Ulcers!
I don't think they'd be allowed to put fish sauce in it and not specify because a lot of people could be allergic to it
No shortage at all people lpve to lie for views
I just saw Sriracha at Walmart on the discount shelf. Either they’re changing the ingredients or recipe and purposely wiped it out so they can restock all their inventory or it’s a locale thing..
Soo glad i got 3 cases
What is sriracha??
