A Cool & Contemporary Family Home Designed For Easy Living

“When I walk inside this house, I want to pinch myself. It’s exactly what I envisioned” says Veronica Martin, partner at Two Fold Interiors. When the designer moved from Ottawa and purchased this Ronscesvalles house in Toronto’s west end, the dated interior was in desperate need of a change. Veronica removed the interior walls and created a modern open-concept home that she describes as “easy living.” See the striking main floor features like beautiful archways, leather finish marble and architectural lighting. Plus, don’t miss the guest suite upstairs that was once her design firm’s office.

  1. All these renovations look identical, all great but would love to see some eclectic, collected, interiors for a change

  2. Beautifully thought out home. Neutral and peaceful. Can you share where you purchased your art work in dining room and family room?

  3. „For easy family living“ – the thumbnail: a huge cream colored rug and a white couch ????????

  4. Love the double waterfall. Why are designers saying waterfalls are passé?

  5. What a lovely renovation. The only change I would have made is antique brass tapware and fittings in the bathroom instead of black, for a softer look – and I would have made the bathroom cabinets a similar colour to the down stairs dining chairs….again to soften the look.

  6. Lovely design, but I don't understand why you would want to place the kitchen in the darkest spot of the house. I think natural light is so important when prepping food.

  7. This home is an absolute triumph! Bravo ???? I love the simplicity, high quality natural materials and thoughtfulness. It have my lots of ideas for our renovation.

  8. I love the home, its elegant yet family friendly. I find monotones relaxing but I would add some more touches of colorful furnishings. Only one bathroom is a deal breaker.

  9. 11 and 13, pre teen and teen. We mums love the younger stages but they grow up fast.

  10. it looks like everything else that is current, streamlined and boring. The long hallway they had before could've been a nice gallery wall… but oh well, so much for that!
