I had a lot of fun with my daughter’s birthday cake this year. She didn’t really want anything specific – “pretty and colourful” is all she asked for and Mama loves nothing more than design freedom! Starting a canvas with nothing in mind and letting the design lead you is the most relaxing and satisfying feeling. I got to play around with rice paper after a long time and for the first time I really explored its capabilities and I can’t wait to play with it more!
