Loved this tour!!! Definitely will rewatch with my notebook ready π
Brunnera for sure!
I can't believe after all of the pink and gray concrete you have removed that there is any left. You poor thing!!
If you put high tunnels in the back property area, would you have to install water back there for plant storage?
Can you please tell us the name of the spider mites spray that Paul discovered?!? Spider mites have been my biggest issue this year hitting all my hydrangeas and other plants, almost killing them. π«€ His discovery gives me hope!
Love it πππ
Your garden is gorgeous!πΈ
Prince Tuts love being in water. Mine are in a water feature loving their life
ALWAYS check! Happy dance!
Thank you for the tour! The Coleus are just yummy! For the empty space, maybe you can turn it into a Garden Answers hands-on education space for people to come and learn from you for two months of the year. Or, you can do the wedding venue space; not the reception but the ceremony or just for picture taking.
Good Morning Laura, I love your morning view, too. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ Chris
ππHappy Friday morning, Laura and cameraman Aaron!
πHi Russell! π Is that Samantha Grace, that I can hear calling out to you 2, from inside the house? She wants to be outside with you! Ohhh, nevermind, it's the hens…. ππ€£ππ€ͺ
The Lime Lights layer is looking spectacular!!!!π€©π€©π€©π€©
Yes, I have heard the hens for quite some time…. I thought it was Samantha Grace. β¬οΈ π€ͺπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€·πΌββοΈππ€£
I have never noticed the ram's head, on that statue, in the center of boxwood Russian sage area before. That is a gorgeous statue!
All of those containers, especially palms by French doors are soooo STUNNING! π€©π€©π€©π€© They have filled in so well! Amazing choices that you combined, Laura!!πππ
Oh my goodness, Laura, please don't fall and join your sweet Mother on the injured/reserved list. I thought for sure, you were going to fall from that electric cord…π± I pray she is steadily and smoothly recovering!
πππππCongratulations, Monica and Hubby for being able to move into your new home!!!!! π‘ A new home is so exciting!!!! Have fun decorating and creating new dreams and memories!!!!!
At 21:08, squirrel πΏ (from the movie, UP)…. Laura – "I get distracted so easily." Trust me, you are not alone in that. Observant people DO get easily distracted by things we notice. It's a good thing.π
At 34:33, I can just visualize Aaron doing a happy dance about the volunteer π» lower branches breaking…. πππ€£
Oooooh, a quick shot of the new fountain β²οΈ running!!π€π€ They have fountain/pond clarifiers. You wouldn't need to drain/scrub it, if you used it in your fountain. Just an FYI for you 2.
Awwwwe, missing the Hollyhock layer in that front bed by the porch.ππ²
At 51:43, what species is that Hibiscus plant that you planted in July 2021? It is gorgeous and a completely different species from the one I have. I would love to have one of that species. I love the leaf shapes!!
ππΌββοΈI vote YES for the gazebo in that area, Laura. π€ππ€£
Thank you Thank you Thank you Laura and Aaron, for getting out in that humidity, to film this August garden tour for us!!!π€©π₯°
Have a Blessed and Beautiful day/night π/π π everyone!

Congratulations on your beautiful gardens!!! I see you planting and it is nice to see the fruit of your hard work.!!!
I think you should switch out trees because I am sure it cost a fortune and who wants a half a tree?
I so enjoy the garden tours !!!
I love these tours.
GARDEN TOUR!!
[Puts on Out of Office notice…brews coffee]
Considering your heat there, I am surprised everything looks as good as it does. It just goes to show what a great gardener you are.
What is the plant outside the Hartley? Plugtansis? Is that right?
My hostas even burn in Tennessee. They have to be completely in the shade to be ok⦠they always look great in spring but when the hot days start they look crispy
