Bordelaise is a French red-wine sauce that’s a classic accompaniment to steak. On this week’s “What’s Cooking,” French Culinary Institute student Alison Stravitz shows the sauce is simple to make at home.
Ever try adding xanthan gum to thicken it?
Needs bone marrow and or demi to be qualified as bordelaise. Not a proper bordelaise. Would be much quicker if you used bone marrow or demi they naturally thicken the sauce I could make it in a third of the time it took you to make yours.
