  1. Looking damn good so far! I like the hidden hinge doors you installed too. I might use a full length door stop underneath just in case someone, like the young foreman for example, happens to step on the ledge/shelf etc. Love the white oak.

  2. Great programme as usual Jason, but the reason for the colour (color to you I suppose) fail was probably due to dissing the foreman's greasy hands….. Foreman have a way of getting retribution.

  3. Can say from experience that scribing technique actually works really well. Gotta thank Bourbon here or otherwise id've been screwed last time i had to scribe….

  4. Nice work Jason! As always. Maybe you (or someone) can save me some searching time? Where did you get those brackets? I need to attach a desktop to some shelves as the desk portion of a loft bed. This looks like it might be a good means. Thanks for all the great videos!

  5. That scribing trick is incredible. Will be using that chamfer technique next time

  6. I've learned this lesson the hard way with paint. It's so frustrating, but I will never make that same mistake again.

One thing I would humbly suggest is to have a strip of material to support the hatch lids instead of a single, small piece of wood (or at least two pieces with each placed across from each hinge). Any weight on the corners will cause those doors to flex and that's not good.

I'm really enjoying this series and look forward to seeing it to completion.

  7. I love this series. I'm curious as to why you don't trust the Shaper Origin for cutting the doors. It's advertised as having CNC accuracy. But I'd love to know more from someone who uses one.

  8. The openings/doors are great, but what would happen if somebody decided to sit on them or just rest on them unintentionally? Respect for the work and passion you put on these.

  9. Sad no Airstream video next week 🙁 I do feel much better that it took you a whole week to do those tops.. I spent about a week doing the cabinets under the bed in the van that I built. It was an engineering nightmare.

  10. i always watch your videos and have learned so much since than. I do have one question. Are you going to use something between the walls and the cabinet to prevent it from sqeeking when you are driving?

  11. Everything you have done so far looks great. The only thing I see (and I know from personal experience) that I would do different is to round off the inside edges of the top where the bed will be. Those sharp edges might not be to comfortable in the middle of the night.

  12. Don't beat yourself up, brother. I still haven't resanded and refinished the scratch marks I accidently put on my bed, placing the slab that holds the mattress yet, and it has been almost three years. It's my bed, I built it, and I appreciate the small imperfections, shows in still human.

  13. Whoever designed those outlets with the ground pointing towards the USB is an asshole.
