If you’re watching this video, there’s an extremely high chance that you’ve used an online dating app before.

In fact, a shockingly high percentage of the world has. (I think Match has something like 24 million profiles.)

On one hand, I’m a huge fan of that.

I met my wife through online dating. And my parents did as well.

But…

On the other hand, there are a few key facts that you NEED to be aware of so that 1) you can stay safe and 2) so that you can get the best possible results.

That’s why I wanted to shine some light on the “dark side” of online dating, and give you a few key insights into the smarter approach to online dating.

These are things that you can instantly apply in your dating life, so I’m excited for you to learn them.

Let me know what you think of the video (took a slightly different approach to this one, you’ll see what I mean).

Look forward to connecting in the comments!

Now I am 35 and basically missed the boat for these parts. Cest la vie.

I am a Filipina who works in Saudi Arabia, I cannot look by the eyes on the groceries, they would think of you like a low profile woman. I am using tinder and thats the only chance for us to know one. sad but must try. hope u can give words to encourage Christians working in muslim countries. on how to deal with first time dating. I have tried one with an arab, he is a doctor and im a medtech, we work in different hospitals but same city. just hard to know all coz u cant come closer but keeps hiding. I just stop and put distance, u cannot really know them even by meeting them in person. its really hard here. and I cant even see online his name anywhere. even his number not in any social medias. I jumped into bad thinking and separate myself but what if its real. I dont know if my decision is good for me or I just screwed up?

I just use tinder last two weeks ago. There is a guy who suddenly sent me a message that he wants to meet me if i have time, luckily im done with my rugby training. So I replied and say yes we can meet..I was really haggard that night because it was raining 😂 im wet and wearing my rugby boots, and uniform and my big backpack..So we meet,we went to a open bar and we talked a lot of things about our life.Drinks wine and eat dinner. We really had a goodtime with good conversations and he is really funny. After that date he ask me again if we can see each other again on the next day.So i say yes again,And again we really had fun we went to a beach. We felt really connected. We are both singles and he is older than me (10years gap im 32).. Now he is traveling in japan but yesterday he told me that he will come back this coming sunday and stay here for one week.He says he wants more to spend time with me..He really wants me to know me because he feels a deep connection with me..
So i think hopefully it will lead us to the future and he told me he already removed his tinder account…Goodluck to myself 😂

It's much better to meet people in real life. Online you can meet wonderful people which you would not of met otherwise. I think this man may be somewhat overly critical and extremely cautious. Hey women receive 50X more messages than men. This would favour women. Yeah eye contact is really really important. If you make good eye contact that is be the beginning of a connection.

Kim Sikorski says:

Most of the men that message me on pof are only after one thing. A few days ago I messaged a man who was a Christian, I let him know I really enjoyed his profile and he stated something in the bottom of his about me asking is there anyone out there real. So I messaged and asked him if he was real because most of the men on the site was wanting only one thing.
He messaged me back and the Second night of just a few messages back and forth he told me I had already had his heart.
I knew then he was just a sheep in wolves clothing. He went on to ask me about what the man did that broke my heart. I skipped that question and many more he asked. He asked me out on a date and I was debating on meeting him for dinner or not but I knew I had to get back out there so I made sure I told him I knew most men liked skinny women and wanted to let him know I wasn't skinny. That I have a digestive problems and even though I don't eat much that my stomach boats and distends to where at times I can look 6 months pregnant.
After that the messages became less and then from paragraphs to one or two lines.
I knew then that weight was a problem for him. I wished him well and then he messaged me again and said let him be the judge of whether I'm to big for him or not. Then he went into that money was tight this weekend due to bills and having to buy his kids food. I knew then he was just wanting to see what I looked like before he spent any money on dinner or anything like that.my gut told me from the beginning of our conversations that something wasn't right so I made up and excuse for a rain check and he said that would be fine.
Get on the next day and his profile is completely gone. No trace of him. I even put in his username and looks as if he never existed. So yes my gut was right. I tried to be honed with him and was even going to give him a chance even after he was asking personal questions that I believe you don't talk about when your trying to get to know each other.
Men like that that uses gods name and church are worse then the men that could care less about god because with that kind of man you see upfront what he is and what he wanting.
But this guy was not only a wolf in sheep's clothing but also probably dangerous being he kept asking so many personal questions. Moral of it all, is that it is hard to trust anyone now days.
