Hi, I’m Donna Barnes, I’m a life and relationship coach and owner of NY Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip, we’re going to talk about dating over 65 years old. There’s still a lot of really terrific people out there that are looking for companionship, so just because you’re past a certain age, don’t feel like there’s not somebody for you. I just got a new client who’s 72 years old, fabulous lady who was married for 30 years and now she’s single again. She wants to go out and have fun with somebody. So what can you do that’s a little bit different? Certainly probably a lot different from when you dated years ago if you’re newly single, but don’t let that scare you. Go to places where there’s senior activities, look online if you know how to do that or ask your children if you have them to do that for you and find fun, community things to do where you can meet other people and its nice to just have somebody to go places with. Go to museums and such like that. They actually have mingling events for older people that you can probably find in your area. The most important thing is that you don’t have to spend your life alone, not that there’s anything wrong with being alone, but there’s lots of other people out there that would love someone to be with.
