But in his later videos he says that the key to being happy is LOSING the self. Because the sense of self is just an illusion. So now I'm so confused because if the sense of SELF is just an illusion, then why would you even try to acknowledge something that doesn't exist?
I sometimes pretend to have low self esteem because I don't want to be rude. It's really weird. Does anyone else have that or a similar problem?

I am a girl who struggles with horrible low self esteem. It is so low that I can't even talk to people without feeling their probably making fun of me in their minds.
I often feel depressed sometimes and there are times where I just want to die or disappear. These are feelings I can't seem to make go away. No matter how hard my parents or family say otherwise.

My problem is that I have problems that every normal person has to overcome, but I constantly beat myself up over them and feel like shit about myself. This prevents me from fixing my problems and now I’m in an endless cycle.
