You may have experienced a situation where your batteries refuse to take a full charge or any charge at all.
A number of people have sent their batteries back for this very reason, so before you do that, have a look at this little segment….
If the smart charger thinks the battery is full or detects too much residual charge, it will not go into “top up” mode or may even switch off the charging function….
I find this can happen if you come back to bench with a half full battery or the charger is disconnected a little early.
This might be caused from use of a timer shutting down charging early, a power failure at the wrong time or even when the batteries have been sitting around for a while and have discharged themselves, but still have enough charge in them to trick
the charger .
I’ve even had days where we go into the field and put in what should be, freshly charged batteries only to find they are completely empty, as the charger got it wrong.
And then it won’t take another charge again at all. … ever!
As one subscriber mentioned, its pretty dumb for such a smart charger!
The crazy thing is, they tell you to store LiPo batteries at around 30% and yet if you take these batteries off charge early (At about 30%), they may not take another charge until empty, or worse still…. they get locked up reading too much charge to ever accept a charge again.
ok… so here’s an easy work around we find works a treat!

When I opened this video on my iPhone 6 (not 6s) the timeline is blue instead of red how did you do it.
I have 12 new p2 batteries that have never been charged but saved for video trips and a couple of new sealed p2v3.0 quads that I purchased for backups that the batteries are also dead in.I took one of the batteries apart and I was able to charge the cells. So the smart battery boards are the problem. Not so smart Batteries. What would DJI say about that. Sucker!

Seriously your going to start charging people to watch your videos? This is worse than clickbait on regular webpages. I cant believe youtube has become such a sell out that they allow this. Wrong on so many levels.

The preview shows a battery that does not light up when connecting the charger. But you don't mention anything about how to work around this in the paid video. This only works if the battery still has charge in it. You even talk about batteries that are completely discharged, but don't say anything about how to fix it. I feel like I just got ripped off.
Hi just wanted to know if you found any solution to the battery problem before i buy new ones. If i do buy new ones can you tell me if you have used any of the after market ones at half the price.

Hi. That link worked. My problem is that i can not get any lights working on my batteries. they are completely dead. not used them for about 12 months. I put them on charge for about 40 min and nothing. Can they be saved ?
