Was that stain poured on the wooden beads in the beginning for thectray? I don't understand why that step was needed if they were going to be painted white?

It took some hunting, but I found the leather stuff!!! Its called "Bond-N-Flex" I haven't bought or used it, but found it on Amazon, e-Bay and several other places once I knew what I was looking for. Hope this helps! 🙂
