Benfotamine can be purchased anywhere online – I do not have a specific brand I recommend – and as far as the amounts, use what is indicated on the label.

Dr. Berg talks about how to prevent diabetes. Insulin resistance is a defense mechanism against the toxic effects of sugar. The body will then compensates by then making more insulin, which causes damages to 4 main cells: endothelial cells (arteries), the retinal cells, the kidney cells and the nerve cells (peripheral cells). These 4 types of cells do not regulate glucose like the rest of the cells in the body. Of course, to prevent diabetes type 2, you need to avoid sugar, get on a low carb diet, and consume lots of nutrient rich nutrients and healthy fats, as well as use intermittent fasting, which can also lower your risks and stress on the insulin hormone.

There is something in the mitochondria that gets damaged BEFORE you can even get insulin resistance. Vitamin B1 helps reduce the damage in the mitochondria and if you took a version of B1 called Benfotamine, you could reduce the destruction even more.

Hi Guys, Dr. Berg here. In this video I want to share with you some unique insights in preventing diabetes. In most videos that I have I talk about insulin resistance, how to get into ketogenic diet, how to do intermittent fasting to help you with this condition but I want to give you some more understanding of the effects of insulin resistance and what precedes that. The first thing you need to know is that the insulin resistance is really a defense mechanism of the body. It is a protective mechanism against the toxic effect of sugar. What happens is your body develops resistance against insulin to stop the sugar from going into the cell because too much sugar is really bad for the cells. One of the problems with insulin resistance is the body will make a lot more insulin to try to create the effect. We have this protective mechanism and when you don’t change your ways, your body just makes more insulin to drive it through to make it connect because it is trying to lower the sugar so eventually you become a diabetic type 2 and your sugars starts getting higher and higher.

It would be amazing to have your videos translated to other languages, as portuguese. My father is in an advance stage, he had surgery to both eyes and now is having problem with his kidney. I can't seem to be able to help my parents and convince them about keto or intermittent fasting. I would love to be able to share your videos and book with them. Thank you for all your amazing work.
