Did anyone notice that the aloe plant has to be about 2 to 3 years old for this remedy to work?

Can you use the 99% pure aloe vera you can get in jugs in the stores
Ingredients:
500 grams of crushed Walnuts,
300 grams of Organic Honey,
100 grams of Aloe Vera gel (store bought juice)
And Lemon Juice from 4 Lemons
Blend all the ingredients, and its done.
Would that work just as well?
I just made my first attempt to prepare the recipe. I ended up leaving the Aloe Vera for upwards of a month in the fridge . It has changed color, general appearance and the jell isn't like it normally would appear. Will it still be beneficial?

When you mean remive the spike dies tht means the rest of the skin is left except the spikes? What do you mean also upper level, middle and lower level. Is it on the tree of of the leaves. Tyx
