On today’s episode of Homeworthy, we’re taking you inside interior designer Beth Diana Smith’s maximalist New Jersey home. Describing her approach to design as a spiritual journey, Beth has gut-renovated her home into an eclectic and inspiring oasis. The creative freedom Beth found in design was a breath of fresh air after spending fifteen years as an accountant – which is certainly reflected throughout her home. A complete renovation in 2020 laid the perfect foundation for Beth to introduce beautifully saturated color into the space. Naturally gravitating to sculptural decor, Beth has sprinkled funky, artful furniture to bring an intoxicating happiness into each room. A fusion of affordable finds, DIY installations and custom furnishings has allowed Beth to create a home that is the truest extension of herself. Enjoy!

Nothing special. Disappointing.
lovely lady. failed to connect with her interior decor style.
What a beauty in the amazing colors and symmetry. I loved her house very much. I wish to have a home of his own and my dream to come true.
What a lovely home, maximalism done right makes being in a room feel effortless and welcoming and this is exactly what Beth has done with her house!
beautifully decorated ..
Love your style and choices! Would you tell me the paint name and maker in your bedroom.
Beautifully decorated
????????✨️‼️
I love this home and her artwork! I also love her story. Another great video.
I had to turn off the volume because my number one pet peeve is people slapping their hands while speaking. It's so annoying.
Love Beth! I’ve been following her on IG for years! Happy to finally see a tour of her beautiful home! The bedroom is my absolute favorite.
Beautiful, delightful and great ideas…especially the kitchen wall lighting and the LR trunk. Love them.
I also love Sheila Bridges’ Harlem Toile. I have a pair of slippers in her Yellow Harlem Toile. Sheila was the first Black interior designer I became aware of when she was on HGTV, when HGTV was still really fun to watch. Her and Candace Olson were my faves back in the day.
Wow. I always liked home decor. Today I realized that I tend to purchase items on the small scale making it a pain to keep everything clean and clutter free. I'm definitely changing my style to something easier to manage at my age.
For some reason it never made sense until today, thanks HW for having such an amazing artist.
I love Beth's style. She's so creative and talented! Beautiful, unique and cool!
