  1. THANK YOU! Sadly, I can do 45 squats normally (yes I feel the πŸ”₯ LOL) BUT the knee gives me too many troubles. With this, I can go further without stopping and feeling injured for days after.

  2. Wow,hearing her say the thing about a backwards movement being about trust and opposite of what we do in our daily lives and how that makes a mental block really helps! I've been trying to figure out why I hate them so much even though I want to master them. And it's extra challenging being 51 and 300 pounds.

Yes I'm looking at this because I have such a Hard time excercising due to I have bad knees and I've had a past injury with my right knee and a recent injury in the end of 2019 where my knee dislocated and popped back in place but I feel with my left knee I feel it's alot more loose now and I don't trust walking without a knee brace and I can never find one that's fully my size since I have thick thighs

  5. Thank you for making this video! I have been trying to get myself back into a fitness routine following an injury, but I feel much more delicate. I have issues with knee pain, back pain, etc. The exercises I used to do now hurt. Thank you again for showing some practical alternatives.

  9. Cece, this is a GREAT video. I work with a lot of deconditioned women AND men, older folks of both genders, and people with lots of mobility issues from sitting at computers most of the day. This is a great way to ease them into these important movements.

    I also have one relatively fit female client who was experiencing knee pain a while back. she is flat out afraid to do anything that involves knee flexion. (I think the pain came because she was hitting the tread mill too hard and too often, but she blames squats and lunges). These exercises – and even more importantly your attitude and prompts – might be a great way to lead her back into it. Thanks so much.
