You also need to pull it out, disconnect the vent hose and suck all that out.
Allow them to dry lol. It’s a drying machine, putting them back and running the machine will dry them.

I love doing this! It feels so good when you're done. You should do a video on how to clean the vents in the back as well as that tube that leads outside. Apparently you're supposed to clean that at least once a year.
