  4. I bought a bifold louvered door for my laundry room and there is a marble threshold separating the kitchen from the laundry room. How do I install the bottom piece of the door? Would I have to drill a hole through the marble?

  5. Poor video. Doesn’t show you how to install two sets of bifold doors in the same opening. And the directions that come with the doors are worthless.

  7. I am a 65 year old grandma & I just installed double closet doors today. The hard part was I had to cut 3/4 inch off the bottom of the doors & make wooden inserts to fill the holes it left. Doors are hollow! You have to make sure it is an exact match to fill it & thick enough to handle the pins. I used a 2×4 scrap but had to cut it slimmer to fit. Glue in place. I also nailed it from the closet side so it wouldn't be seen & also make wooden insert more stable. Then I used a clamp to hold the piece on to the door that I just cut off so I had perfect hole alignments to drill a new holes in the wood inserts for the pins.
My house is 105 years old & nothing is perfect or normal size. Like me!
I came here to see if I did it right! It will pass… so now on to the next project! Good luck people, you can do this!

  8. Just curious, is there a way to install these on top of a laminate floor, while leaving the required expansion space? Maybe drill out a larger than needed hole in the laminate so it has the expansion space, and cover it with something to hide the hole?

  9. Wish I would have seen this video before I installed mine in the laundry room. Looks like I did a terrible job initially, but may try to reinstall at some point, following these simple instructions:)

  10. Lol! Installation is a pain it's not like shown here how about troubleshooting tips like the pin does not securely fit into the top hole rail and the guide rail keeps falling out.

  11. This helps, because I didn't know the name of the doors that I have, and the bottom bracket is broken on one of mine and no longer closes. I would NOT recommend installing these types of doors as they jump the track.

  12. This is incredibly incorrect. You forgot an entire part: Swearing and throwing stuff because you've been trying to install the damn things for 45 minutes and all you've done is pinch your finger, strain your back, and dent the wall ????

  13. This door is nice however the hardware is to weak it does not hold the rack is not for that door

  14. I think Lowe's need to supply us with that if you know we're buying their stuff they should have somebody to deliver them and install them that should come with the price

  15. This doors are pretty but the tracks do not keep the doors in place. I need to redo my door????
