Definitely broke my hair off in the middle to where when I’d straighten it, the middle would not grow! Started over, I RARELY do a high puff now. I just do wigs lol

I just use a satin scrunchie and I don't wrap it twice. It's like a loose, messy high puff and I get zero tension on my edges.

Hey Chaz, I wanted to thank you because I discovered Keracare Curlessence products on one of your videos, and it’s been AMAZING on my mixed type 4 hair. Their cleansing co-wash is dope!! I just got their shampoo and conditioner. It’s been so difficult for me to find shampoos that don’t strip my hair, turn it into matted dread locks, tangle it to death, not really clean it, or leave a weird filmy sensation, that I’m not allergic to, OR WITH A MILLION CHEMICALS!! 🤦🏽♀️ Then finding a conditioner that actually conditioned my low porosity hair, didn’t just sit on top of it, wasn’t watery or too thick OR POISIN🙄. Lol I have a shampoo graveyard under my bathroom sink. 🤦🏽♀️. So thanks. Keracare has been EXCELLENT!!
I’m confused, when you say you had the puff for 3 days, are you sleeping in it? I ALWAYS take mine out, ALWAYS!! That would have to be so bad for your hair. Also I learned not to do a puff on soaking wet hair lol. I know you know that, but maybe someone newly natural doesn’t? I SURE DIDN’T!! Lol 😂
I wish you had Spanish subtitles for my hair group. That video you did on about different textures of type 4c hair, I’ve been saying that FOREVER!! I think a lot if people need to hear it. Type 4 hair is beautifully complex and has way more than 3 subsections!! My sister has silky, curly, type 4. I have silky coily type 4. My niece has coarse, coily type 4, another has silky, wavy, type 4, but we’re all 4b-4c.
I love how diverse and special our hair is. I also appreciate you being one of the few truly coarse textures, doing natural hair content, for REGULAR people who aren’t hair gurus. I have about two styles. But I love my natural hair and take a lit of pride in the care of it.
