  1. Mine is now so free as it turns. Is it the new cartridge or is it because my old one was too stiff?
It works though, no more leakage. Also the pressure is a little bit lower now.

  2. Followed the video, but when I turned the water back on from the shut off valve there was no water. Anyone experience this?

  3. My bathroom got remodeled so the cartridge had only been in there six years then it malfunctioned. It would not come out in one piece. It came out in 100 pieces.

  4. I took the screw off just like in the video but the handle it doesn't come out like the first time I did before

  5. I changed my old shower hardware and cartridge but the mixer is messed up. It either flows hot water or cold water but does not mix it. Can someone suggest a resolution?

  6. Great video but there is one mistake which is when we're told to turn the new cartridge so the notch is in the off position. This makes no sense as the handle is facing upwards when you secure it. I followed this step you recommended and had to undo this step as the water was coming out in the off position. Once I changed this everything worked.

  7. Just replaced mine, leak has stopped, everything works, but now the handle won’t stay in one position, it’s like the new cartridge doesn’t have enough tension

  8. I replace my newly installed cartridge and did all this and still leaks, is driving me crazy

  9. Almost shit myself pulling the cartridge out but finally got it and replaced with new.

  10. The puller tool helps but you can use the old plastic mount to handle, screw it and use that to help pull

  11. Fuck you moen.
Your cheaply made and expensive crap is the bane of homeowners. Fuck you

  12. after wresting with this for 2 hours I have 2 tips:

GET THE MOEN REMOVAL TOOL. even with the tool it took me 30 mins of force to get it out and even then part of the cartridge broke off in the valve. Got mine at ace hardware.

LEAVE THE CARTRIDGE IN THE ON POSITION or water will come out when it’s in the off position.

  13. Thank you, Moen. I've never learned how to turn on a tap like this. We've just had our main bathroom replaced, and the new tap wouldn't go left towards the hot water.

I just wish we had a real-life Chase who could help us…

  14. I had to use the cartridge tool and twist while using a pair of pliers. It was a bear but it came out.

  15. One error in the video, the valve should be left in the 'on' position/notch facing up, as you'll be reinstalling the handle in the on position
