Am I completely out of luck trying to root this or go back to kitkat?

  2. I've got an LG G Pad III X 8 V522, Android Version 7.0 Is there an updated video of this tutorial or can you make one for us?

  3. Hi there, Thanks for this useful video…I tried your method but i keep getting an error when the script runs as below…do you have a solution to that?
Mounting system RW and pushing SU, then remounting system RO again
    mount: Operation not permitted
failed to copy 'su' to '/system/xbin/su': Permission denied
Unable to chown /system/xbin/su: Read-only file system
Unable to chmod /system/xbin/su: Read-only file system
    mount: Operation not permitted

  4. looking back, this tablet was a bitch to root. I have/had the V50010D model. If I remember right, I had to search for hours for a V50010A kdz and rewrite my tablet to it and go from there. But once CM11 or whatever is on there it is golden. This bitch has lasted me 16 months and counting with no signs of slowing down.

  5. it doesn't work on my tab with 4.4.2, it doenst seem to install the necassary files…;-/
