  1. I used mine to help me make a salad it shredded the carrots ok ish but it seems to of stained the inside of the housing unit might just need to let it soak. The celery it did not slice well at all some of it got stuck and caused a lot of them to get stringy

  2. Tried to slice cabbage/carrot, THE WORST PRODUCT I have ever tried. Cabbage/carrot get stuck between the cylider and casing. Cyliders is TOTALLY blunt so you have to push SOOOO hard that you risk breaking it or tipping machine over. Tried to grind almonds, TOTALLY useless, almonds keep stuck between the cylinder and casing so you wont get a lot of almonds grinded. I can't believe that kitchenaid released such a WORTHLESS product. Will return my ASAP!!!!!!!!

  3. If I have the food processor attachment do I need this atta hment? Looks like they do the same thing but the food processor does more.

  4. I just bought the Fresh Prep and used it for the first time. I sliced onion, zucchini, carrot, and celery for stir fry. The vegetables did not eject from the opening. I had to keep stopping and using a spatula to scrape them out. This seems to be problematic. I read in the other comments about doing potatoes. It seems that would gum things up even worse. Perhaps the shoot should have had a little more downward angle to it.
