In Turkey we eat this a lot in this season and we eat it with salt, we’re calling it “çağla”
He just ate the peel
Chagalebadom
Most likely there will be green almond kulfi in his channel
I JUST ATE THIS LIKE 20 MIN AGO AND SINCE I ONLY KNEW THE PERSIAN NAME FOR IT I DIDNT KNOW THIS WAS A UNRIPE ALMOND
You can put it with water and salt for 2 hours much way better
My aunt used to have hazelnuts tree in her garden and we could eat fresh hazelnuts, looked almost like this green almond. It was amazing.
We call it Chaghalehbadoom in iran and its our favorite 😁😁
We grow it in some areas in Tunisia and basically when it is ready we eat the almond inside only (without the flesh). The taste of fresh almond is different from the dried one more watery and the best thing ever with tea
So would this greatly reduce the water needed to grow them?
It depends on the plant, not all of them are bitter, we mostly eat all of it, and it tastes citrusy almost. But there are plants with bitter insides or bitter outsides
Yea lol. We also have these gerenic green ball things (idk if I spelt that right )
Add more salt and water for the salt to stick
My home country is jordan and I’m currently living in America. I am 12 years old and have maybe 65 cousins that live there. Im arab so you know I have over 100 cousins no cap, and a I don’t even know like 15 of them. Anyways when me and my family travel there we stay at my grandparents house. They have a huge house that they designed and my closest cousins live about a ten minute walk away from them. In jordan there is five year old travailing miles alone. So we would just casually walk 10 minutes by our selves. We also had this thing called a dukan and it’s like a little shop, they have them just scattered everywhere and there really cheep compared to over to America. If we got a dinar (Jordanian dollar) we could buy like 5 things from the dukan, like chips or candy or ice cream. It’s awesome. Anyways everyone has these huge gardens in there backyard and so did my grandpa. He had a bunch of fruits and veggies including those! I can’t remember what we called them because I haven’t been in 2 years but I’ll edit this when I find out! ✌🏼
You got to DIP it into the salt. You flopped hard.
the green part is the main part tho, you want to eat it with salt and the bitter taste becomes negligible
not every fruit is good to eat green some types are just too fuzzy and bitter, the best variety is acidic and fresh
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ive picked many almonds but i never thought to eat them raw.
Wait your gay????
No brother, you have to eat it whole
Uh I thought raw almonds are toxic…
I bought some from a middle eastern store and they didn’t have much of a taste but the one I had in the Middle East were sour.
عع چاقاله
You need to remove the green part and only eat almond.
the tiny ones taste better
What’s the salt supposed to stick to 🤨. Maybe it’s like edamame. And I LOVE EDAMAME!!!
He just came up with this, after hearing kaccha badam😂😂😂
Man ur not supposed to cut it u supposeed to dip it in salt and eat it as it is
