How Diamonds Are Mined

We hardly ever think of how the diamonds we use concerned us. Natural diamonds, rather than phony diamonds or artificial diamonds, are mined from the earth. There are presently 2 approaches of mining diamonds: Pipe Mining and Alluvial Mining.

When pipeline mining is utilized, the diamonds are drawn out from the earth through volcanic pipelines. The diamonds are not arranged out at the mine. Rather, substantial rocks that are complete of diamonds are brought out of the mine and moved to a screening plant for separation.

Walls are developed to hold back the water and the sand on the bank or beach is moved with a bulldozer up until the level of earth that diamonds can be discovered in is reached. Rather, the sand that consists of the diamonds is bulldozed into trucks, and taken to evaluating plants.
