  1. It's funny, because black and white cookies are very popular in Germany, but we call them "Amerikaner" which literally translates to "Americans". I never got why they're called like that, due to the fact that i've never seen them mentioned in american cooking shows/Media I didn't even know you have them.

  2. I loved watching this process. I cannot wait to try this cookie recipe! Thanks for sharing! 😊💜

  3. When i make Black and White Cookies or “Americans” as we say here in Germany.
I make them with a piping bag. They come out so perfect!

  4. I always wanted to try this cookie. Thank you for creating this recipe. Going to make this for Christmas 🎄.

  5. If you add a link to the recipe, you shouldn’t need to pay (subscribe) to see it. At the very least, state that a subscription is required.

  6. I was never a fan of this cookie, but my sister sakes for them for her birthday. I read several recipes and saw a number of videos. This was the most helpful. They turned out great. Thank you!

  7. I noticed some comments about buttermilk. Buy the buttermilk for the recipe you are making, use the remainder to brine chicken or turkey.

  8. 11:58 that line curve tho (you should make all the cookies that size) although if you're like me, you'd end up eating it all in one sitting.

  9. 4:18 I disagree, you can easily remember what you did with each batch of cookies. the top left is x, the bottom right is y, the top right is z, etc. you can also write that down as you said and you'd get results faster. (I'm also young and lazy and have a need for speed but still)

  10. Those are not black and white cookies , they are cookies with black and white frosting . Dark fudge cookie half dipped in white chocolate is . Oddly Mrs Field used to make a amazing version
