  1. Talkinf too fast and I had to keep putting the video on repeat. Definitely not understandable because she is talking too fast

  2. Hi, Michelle. Just seeing this. Would that Nair face cream work on a man's facial hair? I tried laser removal a few years back, and it didn't work. Hate shaving, and look awful in a beard. Thanks in advance!

  3. THE 10 COMMANDMENTS OF INGROWN HAIR PREVENTION | presented by WIZKER

    PART I:
    THE PREP
    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #1 : THOU SHALT NOT USE FILTHY BLADES!
Don’t ignore the cleanliness of your shaving tools.

To avoid razor burn bumps, be sure to keep your tools as clean as possible. If your tools have been used before they MUST be sterilized first. Boil some water, grab a spare toothbrush, a bit of soap, and rubbing alcohol.

    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #2 : HONOR THY PRECIOUS SKIN!
    Don’t use too many blades!

If the hair is already long, have it trimmed it down with electric clippers. Avoid razors with more than 2 blades. Why?
With each pass, the hair follicle is tugged up, cut, and falls lower into the skin. That means a four-bladed razor technically counts as 4 passes. The hair has long been been cut but now your poor skin now has razor burn.

    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #3 : THOU SHALL NOT TAKE PREP TIME IN VAIN!
    Don’t rush the shave.

Now that the razor has few blades and is clean You’ll need to prep the hair to be cut.
Imagine the hair follicle is fresh broccoli stalk: for it to be easily cut, the hair needs softening with heat for about 2 mins.
It’s also better to shave with clean skin.
Because a razor blade creates micro cuts to your skin, skin that has been cleaned prior to shaving has the benefit of not getting any dirt or bacteria into those micro cuts, which is another cause of razor burn.
Leave the shaving cream on for more than 1-2 minutes to really soften the hair.

    ____________________________

    PART II:
    THE SHAVE
    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #4 : THOU SHALT NOT GO AGAINST THE GRAIN!
Don’t shave in the wrong direction.

Shave WITH the grain means shaving in the direction of hair growth, usually down.
I’ve inspected my hair and created a face map which tells me what downward angle the hair is pointing.
    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #5 : THOU SHALT NOT OVER PRESS!
Don’t apply excessive pressure with the blade.

Pressing the blade to the skin might seem like a good idea: applying more grabs more of the hair follicle and gets you a closer shave, but doing so will also guarantee ingrown hairs.
If you don’t take prep time in vain, you’ll notice that a gliding the blade with, light touch is all you’ll need to easily cut the hair.

    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #6 : THOU SHALT NOT PASS, PASS, PASS
Don’t make too many quick passes with the blade in the same area.

Avoid running the blade over the same area too many times. This is another cause of razor burn.
Plus, with each pass, the follicle is being lifted up by the blade. And if it falls beneath the skin, you have an ingrown hair
Also avoid running the blade down too far.
With each pass, hair is accumulating under the blade, making each pass less effective.
So pass 1-2 inches then rinse, and repeat following with the grain.
    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #7 : THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT OVER SHAVING!
    Don’t schedule shaves too often.

Starting the week with a shave and then shaving again midweek is a SIN against your skin.
This commandment is hard to follow, especially if you have to shave for work.
One option is to alternate hair removal methods or trim the hair with an electric clipper.
There is a variation in cutting that is partly what causes razor bumps and shaving irritation.
if you have curly hair a sharp tip is laying on your skin which causes irritation, and that sharp tip is what allows the hair to re-enter your skin so easily.

    ____________________________

    PART III:
    AFTER THE SHAVE
    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #8 : THOU SHALT NOT CLOG!
Don’t block your hair from a safe exit.

Avoid using skin/pore clogging creams or lotions. These keep hairs from growing up. After a shave, keep your skin bare; let the tiny army breath, and allow those newly shaved, super small, microscopic hairs to grow out just in time for the next shave.

What about aftershave? I don’t use after shave mainly because its main ingredient is simply Rubbing alcohol and water and that’s exactly what I use post shave.
    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #9 : KEEP THY SMOOTH SKIN FREE!
Give the hair room to keep growing.

24-48 hours after a shave avoid super tight fitting shirts around the Adam’s apple (neck) and/or constricting fabrics below the waistline region.
    ____________________________

COMMANDMENT #10 : REMEMBER TO EXFOLIATE AND KEEP IT HOLY!
Don’t forget to exfoliate every day.

Exfoliation should be a daily ritual. There are two types of exfoliation: chemical and tools. While the chemicals didn’t work for me, I created the Wizker brush, an exfoliating brush for face and body with soft and firm bristles.

Follow these 10 commandments religiously and you’ll no longer fear shaving or ingrown hairs.

  4. Damn it, thought this was gonna be about removing hair from chair wheels for some reason. My chair won't roll.

  5. I remember watching this as a tween and it's bringing back so much memories. She helped me try to look my best and be a little more comfortable in taking care of myself ????????????
