One thing of interest I noticed. I have a friend with a windows OS Lumina 635 on At&T and the hotspot works on his AT&T phone and sim but, When I put my cricket sim in his phone, it was then on the cricket system and everything worked as it should with my cricket account but , the hotspot was then not accessible on the the 635 phone.
So I am wondering if the turning off of the hotspot is in their data system or on the sim card.
I put his at&t sim back in and his hotspot started working again.
any thoughts on this?
Do you know if the hotspot feature will now work on the cricket version of the Moto G after this? thx!
Hey… I successfully unlocked my boot loader and was able to root my moto g, running on Lollipop 5.0.2. Although, when I tried installing the cynogenmod, it threw an error saying "Signature Verification Failed; Installation Aborted".
Any recommendations on how to solve it?
Will it work on my moto g 2nd gen. I'm asking this coz my moto g 2nd gen has the same specs as compared to the 1st gen. So will it work??
I have moto g 2014 lollipop 5.0.2., it has a heating problem and battery drain, should i flash this ROM? please suggest..

your tutorials are great, but i spend hours on searching the files i need, even if you post the links. wouldn't it be easier to simply upload the working files in one folder. This would make my life a lot easier.
when going to recovery at 2:00 I get the usual recovery screen (Black background) not CM based recovery like yours… ideas?
