A brief look at my new shop. There are a few things I need to do before I can set up my tools and do any new projects.

if i had this when it was finished it would be the perfect gaming room / bedroom 😀
You did not take any short cuts on that ceiling, I was in the drywall business for a couple of years and you installed the ceiling just the way we did it; the light fixtures and other devices are installed and then we cut the boards to fit around them and then the electricians return and install their trim rings and cover plates.
Tar Paper?!
Hi John,
I have to ash : Those cables do they have protection to rodents? mice/rats. To me it seems it is a fire waiting to happen.
It goes back to being a garage after I get my new shop built (if I ever actually do that…)
13' x 27'
what size is the new shop? just interested since I'm planing on building a shop from the ground up in the near future.
Heh, I just thought of Spinal Tap.
From my experience, putting felt under shingles is a waste of time and money. It's too hazardous to walk on and offers no extra protection to leaking – it will have several hundred nails through it, from fastening the shingles and it is not self sealing, like ice and water shield.
The shop looks like its coming along, hope to see more updates on it. One question, why didn't you put down roofing felt before laying the shingles?
Looks good, John!
Interesting… I would have thought you to be a milkshake type of guy.
Looks amazing cant wait for some up-coming projects
