Paksiw na Salmon by Chef Kalel

The Paksiw na Salmon that you know is made even better with your favorite Doña Elena ingredients!

Chef Kalel upgrades the Filipino classic with a Mediterranean twist using Doña Elena Anchovies, Olives, and Capers.

2 pcs garlic cloves (pounded)
1 pc red onions (cunt into quarters)
4 pcs Ginger slices
Doña Elena Pure Olive Oil
¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 cup of water
5 pcs chopped anchovies
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp White sugar
1 tsp salt
2 pcs green chili
1 cup cut ampalaya
2 pcs baby talong
2 pcs okra
4 pcs cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp capers
10 pcs olives
1 stalk dill
2 pcs salmon steak
Doña Elena Extra virgin Olive Oil (for drizzling )

1. Pour the Doña Elena Pure Olive Oil, white vinegar, chopped anchovies , salt , sugar, black peppercorn in the palayok or sauce pot.
2. Add the garlic , onion ,ginger, ampalaya , talong, green chili, okra , cherry tomatoes, black peppercorn, capers, black olives & dill
3. Simmer on low heat for 3 minutes then add the salmon on top
4. Simmer for another 5 minutes on low heat
