Here is the recipe so you aren’t wandering for it! 👇🏼
For the salsa –
2 roma tomatoes
1/4 onion
2 garlic cloves
1C water
1 packet chicken bouillon
1 packet tomato bouillon

2Cups jasmine rice (washed)
3Tbsp oil (to fry rice)
1 jalapeno (optional)

  2. The chicken powder or whatever is not necessary. My great grandma didn't use it, my grandma didn't use it, and my mother doesn't use it.

  3. You fry the rice BEFORE. Holy crap dude, thats what ive been missing! I had the flavor close with my own experimentation, but I couldnt nail the texture…. I even cook the rice like that.

  5. When I cut chili I always wear sandwich bags on my hand my mom taught me that. She is not Mexican my dad's in Mexicana but we don't use that sauce that you use we use tomato sauce.

  6. You're not just washing for impurities and excess starch. All rice has some Arsenic in it. Washing helps remove a lot of it.
